PFA LIned Valves APPLICATIONS
PFA is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether (PAVE). Like PTFE, the TFE in PFA is derived from fluorspar, but PFA also incorporates PAVE, which enhances its flexibility and processability while retaining chemical resistance. PFA is synthesized through a similar polymerization process, yielding a material that combines PTFE’s chemical stability with the capability to be melt-processed, making it suitable for complex shapes and high-purity applications.
