PE LIned Valves APPLICATIONS
Polyethylene, especially high-density polyethylene (HDPE), is created by polymerizing ethylene, a simple hydrocarbon gas derived from petroleum or natural gas. In HDPE production, ethylene is subjected to low-pressure polymerization using catalysts like chromium oxide or Ziegler-Natta catalysts. This process produces long, linear polymer chains with few branches, giving HDPE its characteristic strength, rigidity, and resistance to impact and abrasion.
