PP LIned Valves APPLICATIONS
Polypropylene is made through the polymerization of propylene, a hydrocarbon gas obtained from petroleum refining or natural gas processing. In the presence of a catalyst (usually a Ziegler-Natta or metallocene catalyst), propylene molecules bond to form long, stable polypropylene chains. PP’s properties can be tailored by controlling the polymer’s crystallinity, allowing it to be either flexible or rigid and chemical-resistant.
