PTFE LINED VALVES
PTFE-lined valves are popular in the chemical processing and pharmaceutical industries due to PTFE’s ability to handle aggressive acids, bases, and solvents without degrading.

PTFE LIned Valves APPLICATIONS
PTFE is made by polymerizing tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) monomers. TFE is a gaseous fluorocarbon derived from fluorspar (calcium fluoride), hydrofluoric acid, and chloroform. Under high-pressure conditions and in the presence of free-radical initiators, TFE monomers bond to form PTFE, creating a highly stable, non-reactive polymer chain that gives PTFE its excellent chemical resistance and non-stick properties.
